I think the key to sleeping through the night is getting my cat to sleep through the night.
Lights out: 11:50 pm
At 1:17 I woke up to use the restroom
At 4:03 my cat woke me up. I got up to pee.
At 4:15 my cat was still trying to get under the covers with me.
The next step in the sleep project is to keep a regular sleep schedule. I am going to try and go to bed between 11:30 and 12:00 each night. My alarm is set to go off at 7:25 regardless of my plans for the day.
[Yesterday I biked 0 miles but walked 3.8 miles. Today I biked 2 miles and walked 2.8 miles.]

The Sleep Project
I have grown very tired (literally) of waking up multiple times every night whether to go to the bathroom, deal with my cat, or just because. This week I am going to dedicate my project to adopt sound sleeping practices with the ultimate goal of going to sleep at night and not waking until the morning.
Last night, each time I awoke, I jotted down the time and result of waking.
At 11:23 PM I turned off the lamp by my bed in order to go to sleep.
At 2:15 I woke up to pee.
At 4:30 my cat woke me up (and didn't really want me to go back to sleep). After about 20 minutes, I got up and went pee.
My alarm went off at 7:35am.
I did some research on tips for sleeping well. My first tip:
Do not eat or drink anything (except water or tea) after 9 PM.
Although not my project this week, it is still fun to keep track:
Bike miles: 7.7 miles
Pedestrian miles: 4.3 miles
Total miles: 12 miles

The Bike Project
Friday: No bike miles to report. But I did travel 200 miles with my car for a visit to Astoria. I am not sure how many miles I walked but I did walk up 164 steps up (and then down) Astoria Column. Twice.
Today: I biked 5 miles and walked 2 miles.

The Bike Project
Today's bike mileage: 13 miles
Today's pedestrian mileage: 5.5 miles
Total mileage: 18.5 miles
Oh, and I found the perfect road bike today. They are still fixing it up but I should be able to take it home next week, if I am still interested in it.
So excited!
